Danish health coach, blogger and author and her reasons for running

Hi Runners

I’m Michelle and am from Denmark, soon I’ll be running in Palestine Marathon and I’m looking so much forward to it!

In my everyday life, I have my own business where I make people sweat with a carrot in their mouth. Yes, I work with nutrition and exercise! I’m a training expert for Denmarks biggest Womens magasin, I do health lectures for companies, I train actors, I create food recipes, I run a popular blog with my friend, and I have published my first book in October 2012.

In 2008, I ran my first maraton, but I’ve been running since I was 13 years old and ooohhh yes – I’m addicted. Am I fast?? No, not at all. I can keep on running for a long time, but I have never been a fast runner. For me running is an anti-stress ‘pill’. It’s pure medicin for my body and mind in my busy life. As a side effect to the great experiences you get in nature with friends and family, it also makes you happy! The way I look at it is: it may be hard to get out the door – but no one ever regretted a run!

What I’m looking most forward to in Palestine is meeting people, see how beautiful Bethlehem is and to run with my sister, who are running her first half marathon.
